I make dances.

Where can I begin to describe my work? Let’s start easy: I make dances.

I make dances where the movement material is created in the same moment it is performed and yet, not everything goes. There is a definite sense of what material belongs to that certain dance and what doesn’t. That way every dance develops an own identity and every time is performed it is still recognizable in spite of being every time different.

The movement material is produced from a place of receptive streaming, a place where one is able to recognize, identify and appreciate the moment and the elements that form it. A place of heightened sensitivity where there’s no need to try to be creative, but rather to serve the dance, following the stream to become “transparent“.
